The PROFESSOR MULTANOVSKIY is an Ice Breaking Research vessel, which is owned and operated by the publicly-funded Far Eastern Regional Hydrometerological Research Institute (FERHRI). The vessel has been engaged for the joint efforts of the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the and the Russian Government to conduct Walrus Research in the Bering Sea.
